Một bản đồ khác là Trạm Không Gian Dark Aether, đây có thể là cơ hội để Treyarch hiện thực hóa hoàn toàn khái niệm về một “Moon 2.0”. Trạm nghiên cứu mục nát, kỳ dị này quay quanh một ngôi sao đang hấp hối, tạo tiền đề cho những trận chiến không trọng lực và nỗi kinh hoàng xoắn não.

Hai bản đồ lấy bối cảnh Việt Nam và Afghanistan cũng được cho là đang trong quá trình phát triển, được tái hiện cho một thế giới hậu tận thế đầy zombie và có khả năng liên kết với cốt truyện phần tiếp theo của Black Ops 2.

Một bản đồ bị rò rỉ khác là ngôi đền Nhật Bản, một thánh địa cổ xưa nằm trên bờ vực hủy diệt, dưới chân một ngọn núi lửa đang phun trào. Tại đây, chính môi trường cũng có thể là kẻ thù đáng gờm không kém gì lũ zombie. Các dòng dung nham buộc người chơi phải liên tục thích nghi, những cây cầu có thể sụp đổ bất cứ lúc nào và các khu vực an toàn liên tục thay đổi khi ngọn núi định hình lại địa hình. Gleichgewichtseinstellung

  • Alle Kumpel haben nun nach dem Spawnen für eine kurze Zeit eine höhere Wahrscheinlichkeit, den Alpha-Status zu erhalten.

  • Waffen, die nicht als Nahkampfwaffen eingestuft wurden, sind nicht mehr von Partnereffekten betroffen, die die Stärke von Nahkampfangriffen erhöhen (z. B. Dinossom).

  • Im Arena-Tutorial wurden legendäre Pal-Baupläne nicht mehr fallen gelassen.

    • Sie können legendäre Pal-Baupläne nun aus Truhen erhalten, die sich auf den Inseln befinden.
  • Die Verkaufspreise einiger Gegenstände wurden angepasst.

  • Waffen und Rüstungen mit höherem Rang verleihen dem Spieler nun mehr Statusverbesserungen.

Fehlerbehebungen an der Basis

  • Die Standardwerte für die Kumpel-KI wurden angepasst. Dies ist der erste Teil einer Reihe von KI-Verbesserungen.

    • Die Kumpel-KI wurde dahingehend angepasst, dass Kumpel, die zur Verteidigung der Basis eingesetzt werden, weniger wahrscheinlich in Wänden stecken bleiben.
    • Die Pal-KI wurde dahingehend angepasst, dass sich ein Pal bewegt, nachdem er eine Aufgabe erledigt hat, anstatt am selben Ort zu verweilen.
  • Verschiedene Fehler und Exploits bei der Gegenstandsduplizierung wurden behoben.

  • Es wurde ein Problem behoben, das dazu führte, dass einige Waffen beim Wechsel von Ausrüstung nicht korrekt funktionierten.

    • Problem behoben, bei dem ein Spieler auf einem Reittier seine Waffe nicht abfeuern konnte.
